NLC India gains 2% as co joins palms with NHPC on energy buying and selling

Shares of NLC India introduced 2.3 percent in the early change on Tuesday after the company joined hands with NHPC on power trading. The MoU has been signed between NLC India and NHPC in the area of electricity buying and selling.
Through this MoU, NHPC and NLCIL will offer surplus power available within the Northern & North East area to the bulk clients in Southern Region at a less costly tariff.
This MoU will create a win-win state of affairs for the turbines and bulk customers. At 09:37 hrs, NLC India turned into quoting at Rs sixty-three. Forty-five, up to Rs 1.30, or 2.09 percent at the BSE.
